this is what i think, BUT i may be wrong
the routes that are showing as failed on R1`s BGP table .
These have come from IGP ,but they have also come from the iBGP session
setup with 5/2 .
so there route is
R4 As4
R2 As4
R2 As3
R2 ospf
R2-R5-R1 As3 ( full mesh i presume)
R5 IGP
R1 IGP
so router 1 has already learned of these route`s BEFORE they get
redistributed into the IGP.
if you wish to get sync to work , try using a route that is created in the
IGP and not an external re-distributed 1

Hi, steve.
I havent save the config. You can see the topology: As3 neighbors As6 with
R5, neighbor As4 with R2.
R2 redistributes the 197.68.x.x into OSPF, ang R5 redistributes the
200.200.201.x into OSPF. Thats all.
