  <1-2000> Number of ASes in the AS-PATH attribute

This is # of ASes in a path and not paths from an AS.

i guess ip paths can be achieve from

R2(config-router)#maximum-paths ?
  <1-16> Number of paths
  ibgp iBGP-multipath

R2(config-router)#maximum-paths
