Well .. this is nowhere related to technology .. more to do with how
Software is written ,,
Although you see many loopbacks that you can configure (2147483647)
but actually you cannot .
The reason is that S/w has some resources that it allocates to each interface .
So that depend on router you are using . what memory it has etc etc .
Even creating a sub-interface of a serial interface consumes a resource .
Thats the reason we have so many flavours of routers in market .
There are clis to see resources available and max resources .. but
guess not many ppl will b able to make sense of it and also no use of
same clis in field .
