Yes, you are right. RIP willn't accept the packet if the source of the
packet is different from the same subnet. I tried the lab with VLSM
technique in RIPv1, as we know it wont work.
But when I tried with different mask (10.1.1.1/24 in R1 and 10.1.1.2/16 in
R2) for the same major network connected directly through framerelay, I
found the router with less subnetmask (10.1.1.2/16 in R2) update its routing
table by /32 mask for the RIP updates (Major network as 10.0.0.0) recieved from
the other R1 Router.
