Experts,
till 5 mins ago I was convinced that those are (some of) the AFIs:
r1(config-router)#address-family ?
ipv4 Address family
ipv6 Address family
nsap Address family
vpnv4 Address family
vpnv6 Address family
Then looking at
http://www.iana.org/assignments/address-family-numbers/address-family-numbers.xhtml#address-family-numbers-1
I realize that there is no such thing as address-family vpnv4 nor vpnv6
Indeed when we configure mbgp for a l3vpn and and 'address-family vpnv4
unicast' in reality we configure afi=1=ipv4 and safi=128=vpnv4+label
This naming in IOS is totally confusing then; what it this
'address-family vpnv4' then?
Also what is the other compbination: 'address-family ipv4 vrf' and
'address-family ipv6 vrf' then?
Thanks,
bit.
