Hello all,
I passed yesterday in RTP. It was my 6th attempt, and I still can't believe
it.
I became used to getting an email about 4 hours after taking the test,
advising that I didn't pass. When that email never came, I thought
something fishy was going on.... :) I got the results this morning when I
woke up.
I have been watching this list for a few years now, and only posted
twice.... I started out many years ago by getting the ccna, then the ccnp.
Went on a little tangent there with the css1/ccsp, along with the ccdp,
and then passed the written almost 2 years ago.
People always put in this message, what they did to study. I will let you
know what I felt my biggest mistake, and my biggest help was.
My biggest mistake:
Taking time off after each failed attempt, before getting back into studying
again.
My biggest help:
Cyscoexpert in Chicago. I went there after failing my 4th attempt. I came
really close on the 5th attempt. All their coaching really started to kick
in, when I was doing my own labs at home, after attempt #5. Thanks Naren!
Labs bought:
I bought the boson labs, which I felt were a waste of money. I bought labs
from netmasters, and they were good. I bought the labs from ipexpert.com,
and felt that they were the best.
Time to catch up on summer.... what's left of it.
To everybody else that's hasn't passed the lab yet:
Remember, the only time you fail is when you don't try again.
Take care,
Eric
